As the weather gets warmer, we get deeper into the thick of FESTIVAL SZN, and this weekend the CRSSD Festival touches down at San Diego's Waterfront Park on March 3 and 4. The lineup is thick with some of house music's heaviest hitters of the modern era, including Gorgon City, Nicole Moudaber, MK, Cirez D, and plenty more. Amongst them are two French electronic producers who have been making some noise over the last few years: Tchami and Malaa. To hype up their upcoming individual sets, the frequent collaborators linked up for this fiery back-to-back set.
Tchami has grown from strength to strength over the last five years, going from acclaimed releases through Fool's Gold to establishing his own imprint, Confession. Malaa has been an actual international man of mystery, primarily because the Pardon My French crewmember has kept his identity hidden since hitting the scene roughly three years ago. The duo is currently on their No Redemption Tour, which featured the release of a hefty batch of remixes. One of them you can hear in the set is Malive and Lowdown's remix of their collaborative cut "The Sermon," which is dropped alongside fresh material from both Tchami and Malaa alongside Redlight, Martin Solveig, and others.
