Apparently, Justin Timberlake still got it. Following news of his fifth studio album, Man of the Woods, debuting at the top of the Billboard 200 chart after moving 293,000 equivalent album units, Timberlake's upcoming tour has reportedly reached the $100 million mark.

"We've got 50 shows on sale in North America and 16 in Europe, and we're over 700,000 tickets [sold] and $100 million gross," Arthur Fogel, president of global touring for Live Nation, said, perVariety. "It's pretty staggering. We're into our third shows in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and Toronto; We’re into doubles in probably a dozen markets. It’s huge."

It was the perfect storm for Timberlake, who remained in the public consciousness for a solid month by releasing new music, along with visuals to support the songs he released. The marketing push culminated in his halftime performance at Super Bowl LII in early February.

In an interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1, JT admitted that, at 37, he doesn't know how much longer his body will let him deliver shows the way he's been accustomed to doing them. And given the fact that Timberlake spaces out his tours so much that you don't know when will be the next time he's on the road, you can probably understand why people are jumping at the opportunity to see the Tennessee native right now, and in such large numbers.
