Birdman Loses at Least $100,000 to Philadelphia Rapper AR-Ab in Super Bowl Bet

The Cash Money Records co-founder lost his big bet on the Patriots.

Did you lose a Super Bowl bet when the Eagles defeated the Patriots 41-33 in Super Bowl LII on Sunday night? If it makes you feel any better, you probably didn't lose quite as much as Birdman.

Leading up to the game, the Cash Money Records co-founder announced on Instagram that he made a $100,000 bet on the Patriots with Philadelphia rapper AR-Ab.

In follow-up Instagram posts from AR-Ab, the amount increased to $150,000, before finally reaching $200,000. Interestingly, he deleted both of those posts as soon as the game ended, so we can't say for sure what the final amount was. Each of Birdman and AR-Ab's $100,000 posts are still up, though, so that amount will likely stand.

Minutes after the game ended, AR-Ab celebrated his winnings with a cash-filled photo on Instagram.

This isn't the first time Birdman has made news for a huge Super Bowl bet on the Patriots. Back in 2012, he said he would bet five million dollars on the Patriots before they took on the Giants. The Patriots ended up losing, but in a follow-up tweet, Birdman said he never actually made the bet.

For AR-Ab's sake, let's hope Birdman finally pays up. He hasn't yet acknowledged the loss, but he did post this photo on Instagram as soon as the game ended. A quick glance through the comments reveals hundreds of fans telling him to make good on his bet.
