Gucci Mane is one of the hardest-working rappers in the game today, and he's apparently taken that same mentality to the world of publishing. On Monday, Gucci took to Twitter to reveal that he's already started working on his second book. "I started writing my 2nd book today #GuwopTheAuthor," he wrote. "#TheAutobiographyOfGuccimane was just the beginning!! #EvilGenius."

Immediately after posting that announcement, Gucci tweeted out the message," Keep it up!," which may have been words of encouragement to himself and/or his followers.

Back in September, Gucci published his first book The Autobiography of Gucci Mane, which was written while in prison with the help of former XXL editor Neil Martinez-Belkin. After getting pressed by friend and Spring Breakers director Harmony Korine to write a screenplay during his stint in jail, Guwop finally caved when his engineer became the latest in a long list of people who brought up the idea of writing a book.

Gucci connected with Martinez-Belkin as they worked through the beginning stages of what would eventually become The Autobiography of Gucci Mane. When asked in his September 2017 interview with Vulture about the likelihood of writing another book, the rapper gave an emphatic "yes," declaring he was "100 percent" sure that a second book would see the light of day. "I’m 100 percent writing another book and I’m definitely going to write that screenplay," he said.
