Last night, though, Drake took us all on a humbling trip down memory lane, to an era when "Champagne Papi" was merely a glimmer in the young rapper's eye.

It's crazy to imagine now, but there was a time when Drake's only accolades were the things he listed on this first release: 30 registered fan clubs, 800 topics on message boards, and a performance at Chris Bosh's private birthday party. Looking back at his struggle rapper days, Drake's IG post is actually pretty inspiring. Fans were quick to voice support in the comments section, leaving quotes like "started from the bottom now we're here" and "trust the process."
Drake continues to dominate on a global scale, and with his latest EP release, he's showing us he's still got what it takes to break records. The 6 God isn't going anywhere just yet.
