Cardi B and Ozuna have dropped the video to their heavily teased collaboration "La Modelo."
In it, the boisterous Bronx rapper and Latin trap star bring us to Jamaica for a grandiose house party in a breezy, all-white island villa. It's a bold departure from the typical booming trap bops that we're used to hearing from Cardi, but the chill vibes are a nice change of pace.
Cardi sings much of the song in Spanish, but around the three minute mark, she switches back to English to deliver some braggadocious bars.
Cardi's had one hell of a year, and now she can tick off a Spanish-sung reggaeton track off her list too. Ozuna has been busy as well. Most recently, he's hopped on Post Malone's remix for "Rockstar" in order to re-up the hit with some needed vitality.
The two make a good musical pairing on "La Modelo," with Ozuna's laid back style clearly rubbing off on Cardi, giving her performance some subtlety.
