NYC rapper Trav, who earlier this year recorded Bobby Shmurda freestyles over the phone, is gearing up for the Dec. 8 release of his album QRAK (short for "Queens Raised a King") by sharing one of the record's big collaborations.
Complex is proud to premiere "Blow My High," featuring Meek Mill.
Trav told Complex that the song was originally intended for Meek's use, but things changed.
"We recorded this song in L.A., and Meek wanted to keep it for his project but I was dropping sooner, so we decided it would make more sense for QRAK," he said. Trav also had thoughts on his collaborator's upcoming several-year bid in state prison.
"As far as his legal issue is concerned, what's going on with Meek has been happening in our community for years," Trav continued. "It’s just sad to see Meek going thru the same shit we work so hard to avoid. My thoughts are with him and hope he can get out soon."
