Up-and-coming rapper/producer Shaboozey channels his appreciation for Led Zepplin's Robert Plant with a new song and video titled after the legendary rock singer-songwriter.

The video finds the 22-year-old act from Virginia throwing it back to a '70s aesthetic that includes the proper garb for the time. There's also a distinct nod through the sample of Led Zepplin's "Ramble On."

"I consider this to be more of a short film than just a traditional music video," Shaboozey says of his latest release. "Three years ago I formed an in-house multimedia film production company, V Picture Films, to help create unique content for myself and other artists in my area that I felt lacked the resources and the right creative collaborator to bring their vision to life (how I at the time felt as an artist). I therefore used this opportunity to collaborate with my creative self, and began working on a project that I knew the world had to see."

He added, "The song and video for 'Robert Plant' was inspired from a place of pure love for what pop culture was in those days. It wasn’t just the music, or the style, it was the raw authenticity of what those things were, what they represented. 'Robert Plant' is the celebration of what came before us. I created this to honor the heroes who were fearless enough to express themselves as individuals, regardless of what society thought of them or deemed politically correct."
