French Montana’s “Unforgettableis the latest single off his new album, Jungle Rules. It features a characteristically catchy hook from Rae Sremmurd's Swae Lee, and it's Montana's first No. 1 hit on the Hot Rap Songs Billboard chart. The song is about to enjoy a second wind, thanks to a new acoustic remix featuring Mariah Carey, released Friday.

Carey teased the remix earlier this week in a tweet, but according to Billboard, the song might have been in the works for quite some time. French and Mariah were reportedly working on a new song together all the way back in July of 2015, but nothing ever surfaced. It's unclear if that collaboration was this remix, but it at least seems like the pair is somewhat familiar working together.

The new remix is a total reimagining of the original song, substituting the addictive, heavy beat for Mariah’s sweet, recognizable vocals. As a result, Swae Lee’s hook and French Montana’s raps take on a new life.

The “Unforgettable” remix is out now on iTunes and Spotify.

The new remix is yet another big-name feature for French Montana, which is pretty fitting, given his album philosophy: "Those people who put albums out by themselves are weirdos," the rapper said in a recent interview with Paper. "Music is about having fun."
