Justin Bieber has canceled the rest of the dates on his Purpose World Tour.

In a statement, a rep for Bieber did not blame a direct cause for the cancelation, instead citing broader, "unforeseen circumstances." An unedited version of the statement provided to Complex follows below:

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber will cancel the remainder of the Purpose World Tour concerts.  Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months. He is grateful and honored to have shared that experience with his cast and crew for over 150 successful shows across 6 continents during this run.

Prior to the abrupt end of the Purpose World Tour, Bieber had been on the road since March 2016, playing upwards of 150 shows to support the tour during that timeframe. He was set to continue touring through mid-October, traveling everywhere from Texas to Toronto to Tokyo in the next few months, and there were at least 14 shows remaining as part of the tour.

While the Purpose World Tour reportedly brought in a boatload of money, grossing over $90 million in the first half of 2017 alone, Bieber did not get through the long stretch of concerts without incident. Just days before the cancelation announcement, Bieber was banned from performing in China due to previous "bad behavior."

After hearing the news, Bieber fans waiting for him to stop through town were inconsolable, not wanting to believe that the news was true.

I just needed him to go on for five more days ): what a sad day pic.twitter.com/qBVcrLxKrz
WHAT NOOOOOO IM GOING TO CRY FOR DAYS
I am very upset
what the heck!!!!!! ☹️☹️☹️

At the time of this writing, Bieber himself has not personally addressed the news on any of his personal social media pages. We will update this story as more information on the cancelation comes in.
