UPDATED 7/17/17: J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League continued to call out Chance the Rapper on Monday morning. The production team referenced Chance's recent call with SoundCloud CEO Alex Ljung by sending out this tweet:

Cmon. Dont start shitting on niggas and twisting up the situation. The music is free for the fans to listen to it. Hes gotta make $ for that https://t.co/LUw17XHvk4

They also responded to a fan who spoke up on behalf of Chance:

@chancetherapper ain’t gonna do us like he did his baby mama. Ain’t no alternative arbitration. You finna take care of THIS responsibility

J.U.S.T.I.C.E League is calling out Chance the Rapper ... once again.

On Saturday afternoon, a member of the production team sent out a series of tweets that accused Chance of using their work without paying. J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League made the same claims last summer when they announced the Chicago rapper had featured one of their producer’s beats on the 2013 mixtape Acid Rap.

JL’s Rook discussed the matter during a 2016 interview with DJ Pain 1. He said Chance’s team had asked to use the track as well as the League’s tag in order to give the project a boost.

“They really, really wanted our tag and our credit on the mixtape. And we’re like, ‘OK no problem, just pay us,” Rook explained. “It wasn’t even that much. It was maybe like five grand or something like that.”

He said the beat was eventually used without their permission, and the team never received compensation, a shout-out, or even a thank-you.

Well, it seems the issue has yet to be resolved. One of the JL members continued to blast Chance on social media, questioning his character, business ethics, and role as a father.

@chancetherapper is now the big evil corporation taking advantage of the little guy pulling charity stunts under the guise of God
Def gonna hear from @chancetherapper manager/lawyer this week after these tweets so they can try and weasel their way out of paying again
@chancetherapper got 😡 when I referenced this article about arbitration in regards to his child support #Manchild
Real talk tho we been rocking with @audiomack over @SoundCloud they the wave. Let’s hope they keep doing the right thing.

It seems the League was triggered by Chance’s recent efforts to save SoundCloud, a website that played a huge part in the rapper’s success. The tweets suggested Chance had used the SoundCloud platform in order to cheat producers out of royalties.

The thing is @chancetherapper normalized the free business model. Don’t pay (or pay minimal) for creation, post on SC and not pay royalties
Of course Chance wants to save the free music business model. That’s how he got on by NOT paying
Long story short @chancetherapper did some flaw shit and we called him out on it. He’s a fraud and we called him out on it.
False gods being exposed @chancetherapper who we pulling up on? You or your bodyguards? Or manager your manager Pat Corcoran?
The truth shall set you free @chancetherapper that’s why you was so mad over the phone g. I don’t need your money, I just need your truth!
Just spoke with the man of God @chancetherapper he told us to sue or pull up him for the money he owes us.

The JL member also said he spoke to Chance on the phone, presumably sometime during the tweet storm.

This part is true. But the money I "owe" you, I paid to the actual producer who is suing you currently to get out of that slave deal. https://t.co/8Vl8fC3lJ7

Chance went to Twitter to confirm the conversation, but he denied owing any money.

Stay tuned to see how the story unfolds.
