The-Dream took to social media Tuesday to announce that his new EP, Love You to Death, is on the way.

"Love You To Death EP Dec 9. #LOVEYOUTODEATH #radiokillarecords #rocnation #thedreamlives," he captioned a photo of what appears to be the project's cover art.

The release will mark Dream's first new solo material since dropping his Genesis short film at the very start of the year. The project featured 10 new tracks and included a Wiz Khalifa collaboration. "This visual art project was created to give fans a glimpse of my daily thoughts," The-Dream said of the project at the time. "I can never fully explain what I see and what I hear separately, it must be fused into one."

Since then, 2016 has seen The-Dream take a major behind-the-scenes role, contributing to some of the year's biggest projects including Kanye West's The Life of Pablo and Beyoncé's Lemonade. He also collaborated on tracks with SBTRKTSolange, and Tinashe.

There's also a new full-length on the way that will be the long awaited follow-up to 2014's IV Play. In September, The-Dream revealed details about the album to Billboard telling them, "I'm finished with a new album. There's an incredible song that me and Rick Ross did on the album. I think people are going to love it. I may put out a new EP before that but the new album will be slated at the top of [next] year." Thankfully, we'll have Love You to Death to hold us over until then. Look for the EP to arrive Dec. 9.
