Kid Cudi posted an emotional message on Facebook on Tuesday night announcing that he will be entering rehab due to his struggles with depression and suicidal thoughts. "I am not at peace," he wrote. "I haven't been since you've known me...I'm scared, I'm sad, I feel like I let a lot of people down and again, I'm sorry. It's time I fix me."

Many fans and friends of his were surprised by the emotionally candid message and took to social media to offer their support. This included people praising his work, talking about how he had saved their lives, and supporting him for being brave enough to openly share his struggles.

Travi$ Scott, who has gone on record to call Cudi his biggest inspiration, also took to Twitter to send support to the person he calls "favorite rapper of all time," who most recently appeared twice on Scott's new album, Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight. "Praying for my dawg cudi. We love u bro. U mean everything to us. Ur life is to important to us in ways u don't understand. DONT FORGET," he wrote before reminding everyone that he makes music because of Cudi. "YOU ARE IMPORTANT TO US. I MAKE MUSIC CUZ OF U.WE NEED U." The fact Kid Cudi is having to apologize for seeking help shows how terrible our views on mental health issues are. His actions are brave.
