Tyga could be facing arrest after reportedly failing to show up to court today. TMZ reports that the rapper didn't show up to his scheduled court appearance stemming from a $480,000 lawsuit against him. An LA Times article reported that Tyga owes the money to his former Malibu landlord, who evicted him for failing to pay rent and leaving the rented mansion a mess.

"The master bedroom had been outfitted with a stripper’s pole and the home’s intercom system was disconnected. The hardwood floors, gate opener and glass-tiled shower were damaged," reports the Times. The landlord claimed that Tyga "leased a house that he wanted to use as his primary residence, then he completely trashed it."

The TMZ report points out that the landlord was upset in court after seeing Tyga had purchased his girlfriend Kylie Jenner a $200,000 Mercedes-Maybach as a birthday present earlier this week. She showed off the gift in a glitzy Instagram post, thanking him for surprising her with the vehicle. The landlord was less amused, claiming that the gift was a "fraudulent transfer of assets" that should be going towards repaying the repair bills and back rent that Tyga still owes.

The court date was scheduled so that the judge could examine Tyga's finances, which have been notoriously shady. He's faced eviction and car repossession recently, but continues to live a lavish lifestyle. After failing to appear, the judge issued a bench warrant. That means that Tyga could end up in jail unless something major changes.
