Ariana Grande has teamed up with Apple Music to premiere every track from her forthcoming album Dangerous Woman until it releases May 20. Grande just premiered “Sometimes,” the tenth track from the project, on Beats 1 radio.
Before Grande played “Sometimes,” she explained to listeners why the song was one of her favorites off Dangerous Woman.“This is one of my favorites on the album because I love the vocoder and I love the bridge," she says. "That’s my favorite musical moment on the whole album."
“Sometimes” is an infectious pop ballad that features Grande confessing she wants to leave her lover, but her hesitation and fear makes her stay. Unlike her pop-rap banger “Side to Side” with Nicki Minaj, Grande’s emotionally-charged and catchy lyrics will have you singing along instantly.
Grande had a pretty productive Sunday, according to DJ Khaled's Snapchat. Sometime before the song premiere, she hung out with Khaled at his Miami mansion. They engaged in some cloth talk, talking about things like her musical inspirations (Madonna, Imogen Heap, Whitney Houston, and of course, Khaled), collaboration rumors, their favorite flowers, and more during a workout. Grande also said the video for “Let Me Love You” featuring Lil Wayne will drop on Apple Music at Sunday midnight EST.
