Back in December, Nicki Minaj's brother Jelani Maraj was arrested on a first degree rape charge for assaulting a 12-year-old girl. The next day, Nicki reportedly bailed Jelani out of jail, and then not much came from the story until today. According to Bossip, Maraj was indicted by a Grand Jury in Nassau County Long Island on April 4 and could potentially face 15 years to life in prison if he's convicted. Maraj is reportedly facing a top charge of felony predatory sexual assault against a child, as well as felony sexual conduct against a child under the age of 13, and endangering the welfare of a child.

Minaj has not addressed the situation, though the above picture of her and Maraj is still live on her Instagram page. According to the report, Maraj was in court on Tuesday, where he pled not guilty and was released on $100,000 bond. We reached out for a statement from Maraj's attorneys and they said they were not commenting at this time. We'll continue to update this story as more details come out.
