It's no secret that Vince Staples isn't afraid to say what's on his mind at any given time, so it's not all that shocking that he decided to throw shots at Spotify...during a Spotify concert. Yes, according to The Austin-American Statesmen, Vince ripped into the service during his set at their showcase at SXSW yesterday. "Shoutout to Spotify," Vince said to the crowd. "Thank you for giving me this check to make up for what you've done to me and all my musical friends." Of course, this isn't an uncommon stance for an artist to have in 2016 with streaming services dominating the market, but few are as bold as Vince to say it in this manner. But honestly, that's what makes Vince Staples so great.

"Listen to your favorite album 1,000, 2,000 times so everybody can get an album sale," Vince said to the crowd later. This is just the latest act that hip-hop has taken against Spotify in recent memory, as just yesterday news broke that Jay Z removed his Blueprint album series from Spotify and made them only available on Tidal. Naturally, Vince took to Twitter after his set and joked that Spotify is the only service that he uses to stream Willow Smith. Please never change, Vince.
