Funkadelic's George Clinton teams up with Kendrick Lamar and Ice Cube for the video of their “Ain’t That Funkin’ Kinda Hard on You?” remix that dropped last month. Rooted in the soul of the '70s, the video opens up on special guest Michael Colyar's car breaking down in the middle of nowhere as K. Dot descends down to earth in his spaceship, lightbeaming him up just in time.
The Video God-directed visual then shifts to Kendrick rapping from his intergalactic throne with bars that might sound all too familiar now as the bars as from his untitled unmastered track ”untitled 08.″ From there, the Star Wars inspired film takes us to a funky place far, far away where the legendary singer lays the groove on thick before Ice Cube finally joins the party with some of his own slick bars and even name-checks O’Shea Jackson Jr.'s starring role in Straight Outta Compton.
