UPDATE 12:30AM: A$AP Rocky is doing just fine after the "scuffle" and posted this tweet to let his fans know that he's okay...and still pretty, of course.

See below for the original story.

A$AP Rocky was reportedly attacked by a group of men in a hotel elevator in New Zealand, according to TMZ. Sources told TMZ Rocky was getting into an elevator with a group of girls after a show in Auckland when three men attempted to get in the elevator as well. When Rocky told the men that there was no more room for them, they jumped him. Rocky reportedly tried to protect the women during the incident.

Sources also said that the attackers knew exactly who they were assaulting because they were heard shouting, "Fuck A$AP." One suspect was reportedly detained for assault and resisting police after hotel security broke it all up.

Although the assailant under arrest is an Auckland local, Rocky has been a historically popular artist down under. He stopped for shows there in 2013 and 2014, selling out his '14 Logan Campbell Centre gig. He has a performance tonight—Thursday, Feb. 25 because of the time difference—in Moore Park, Australia at Hordern Pavillion that is still scheduled to go on.

We reached out to a rep for Rocky regarding the reported incident and will update when available.
