UPDATE 7:12 PM: The FADER reports that Offset's lawyer, Drew Findling, explains why the Migos member is out today.

Findling explained Offset is serving five years probation because he entered an Alford plea deal, which doesn't necessarily mean he's admitting guilt. He adds the state agrees to reduce the sentence to two years on good behavior. The main case on Offset was dismissed earlier today, but the probation comes from his actions while he was locked up.

"He was put in a position where he felt like his arm was held behind his back, he wanted to support his children. He made a decison that it was time to choose freedom," Findling told FADER.

Offset is finally home. The Migos rapper had been in jail since April after being arrested on drug and gun charges during a concert at Georgia Southern University. Quavo and Takeoff's bail was set at $10,000, but Offset was denied bail because of his past felony convictions. After being denied bond for the third time back in October, Offset reportedly appeared in a bail hearing earlier today, according to TMZ

Shortly after news of the hearing broke, fellow Quality Control signee Rich the Kid tweeted, "OFFSET WILL BE HOME IN A FEW HOURS!!!" as well as, "Offset will be released today." Of course, the reunion was happily confirmed with a photo of Offset with the accompanying tweet, "I got my boys bakkkk!!!!"
