Kanye West phoned into Big Boy's morning show and gave a small update on his long-awaited, new album, SWISH. 'Ye confirmed that he's taking things very slow with the process of the album, but that he thinks things are going well. "It's like a sonic painting getting better every week," Kanye said.

He also discussed his recent 808s & Heartbreak show in Los Angeles, and said that he was glad he was able to revisit an album that wasn't really accepted when it dropped. Listen to a portion of the interview below via HHNM and stay tuned for the full stream.

Kanye on new music: "I keep working to find the language I'm trying to say on my album- in the lab every night. It's like a sonic painting."
"It allows me to express myself! Some parts of that album was panned and got dissed... but now it has become the sound of radio!"
