Vince Staples, hip-hop interview whisperer, spoke with i-D magazine about life, Celebrity Deathmatch, ghostwriting, Sprite, Taylor Swift, and the 1995 hit children's film Casper. Additionally, Staples made a point of telling the godbody white girl troll Miley Cyrus to "shut the fuck up."

Staples offered this vulgar advice in response to comments that Cyrus made last month to Marie Claire about Kendrick Lamar. In a September cover story, Cyrus vented to the women's magazine, “Kendrick Lamar sings about LSD and he's cool. I do it and I'm a druggie whore.”

When Marie Claire first published Cyrus' comments, many readers—including Staples—assumed that Cyrus must've mistaken Kendrick Lamar for A$AP Rocky, who has a new song called "LSD," and who Staples happens to be touring with this year.

They should take Miley Cyrus Compton pass away for what she said about the almighty K. Dot.

Following Cyrus' disastrous hosting gig at MTV's Video Music Awards ceremony this past Sunday, Staples revisited the dust-up in his interview with i-D. "So is it either you don't know what you're talking about, or is it all black people look alike?" Staples wondered. "Either one is fine with me but shut the fuck up Miley Cyrus."

Note that Staples, a Long Beach rapper, isn't categorically opposed to prominent white pop stars. "Anyone who has a problem with Taylor Swift," he says, "I'm supporting her because I'm trying to buy a home right now."
