While putting together our latest episode of Magnum Opus on Young Jeezy's "Soul Survivor," we talked to a lot of people and heard a lot of great stories. Jeezy told us about how there was $2 million in real cash on the cover of TM 101, DJ Drama told us about how Jeezy used to hassle him about doing his mixtapes, and Shawty Redd told us about how Jeezy used to sound like Trick Daddy. But maybe the best story we heard came from Benny Boom—the man who directed the music video for "Soul Survivor"—about how BMF's Big Meech stunted on then Def Jam president Jay Z at the video shoot.

For our latest episode of Jewels, Benny Boom recalls Jay Z pulling up to the video shoot only to have Big Meech—who drove all the way from Atlanta to Brooklyn, New York—outdo him. Benny explains it wasn't a beef, but Meech clearly just wanted to flex. If you aren't familiar with Meech beyond that time Rick Ross rapped about him, read up on Meech and the Black Mafia Family and you'll see why it was nothing to stunt for those guys.
