Animal Collective Confirm They've Finished Recording Their New Album

Animal Collective confirm they've finished their first album since 2012's 'Centipede HZ' on Instagram.

According to an Instagram post from Los Angeles-based EastWest Studios, indie outfit Animal Collective have finished recording their new album which will be the first since the release of Centipede Hz back in 2012. While band members have kept busy creating and touring with other projects including Avey Tare and Geologist's releasing Psycho Actives Vol. 1 EP and Panda Bear's Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper being released in March, the new album will mark the band's 10th LP together.

“Today Animal Collective finished recording their new album in Studio 3.  [☺️]  we are so proud of them and this Album, can’t wait to hear it!!! Cheers!” EastWest exclaimed. In addition to EastWest, Animal Collective have also been spending recording time at Drop of Sun Studios in Asheville, North Carolina.
