At SXSW 2014, West Coast rapper EPICMUSTDIE found himself in a pretty insane scenario, especially for a festival that doesn't exactly help up-and-comers these days. The Compton/Long Beach-based artist ended up rapping for Wiz Khalifa, and made waves after Wiz recognized his talents during the show.

These days, he's putting in work on solo music and today, drops the trippy video for "Sauce," produced by Antdawg. EPICMUSTDIE says he recorded the track months ago in Long Beach on "some random vibe" but that it's the first track he ever fully freestyled through. "I usually make very serious and deep songs," he told Complex. The video was shot in Compton at his crib, and comes on the release of fellow LEFTOVERZ artist Boogie. He's prepping a ton of new EPs coming soon, but for now, get hip to the Cali rapper with his heavy, high-energy anthem, "Sauce."
