Young Thug went far with his plans to name his upcoming mixtape Carter 6, but it appears he's backing down at the last minute. The self-proclaimed Lil Wayne fanatic took to Instagram to announce he's renaming his next project to avoid a lawsuit. Instead it'll be titled Barter 6, which further cements his status as an A1 troll.
Weezy finally commented on Carter 6 at a concert last week, saying, "Stop listening to songs of n****s who pose naked on their motherfucking album covers." Young Thug, however, refuses to take his own shots. He says Lil Wayne will continue to be his idol no matter what.
Look out for Carter 6 Barter 6 to drop April 17.
