E&J Brandy rounded up Raphael Saadiq, BJ the Chicago Kid and Lee Fields as the stars of its Generations of Soul campaign, which launched last month and runs through the year. Generations of Soul marks the company's 40th anniversary, and today, we've got performance footage from Lee Fields singing his song “Don’t Leave Me This Way” a cappella.​

“Soul is about the spirit, the heart — expressed through a hybrid of styles and sound. And when you bring "three generations — three different styles of soul together its pretty special," Fields said in a statement. "It’s been amazing to collaborate with Raphael Saadiq and BJ the Chicago Kid. Three generations of good, honest, keeping it real, American soul. A collaboration made possible by a brand with a whole lot of soul."

On April 2  in Los Angeles, 500 guests will be treated to live performances by Fields, BJ and Saadiq, and later this year, E&J will issue 7" vinyls of songs covered by the three artists. Check out BJ the Chicago Kid's performance of "Soul of a Woman" below, too:
