Pittsburgh native singer/songwriter Kevin Garrett has caught the attention of Katy Perry after releasing just two songs, and his new EP is set to draw even more ears (signing with Roc Nation doesn't hurt either). Today the pensive, soulful artist who blends R&B with mellifluous electronics has released the Mellow Drama EP, an understated but powerful portrait of loneliness and impending heartbreak. The three new songs on the EP continue with the beautiful somberness that define the previously released "Coloring" and "Control."
