Kehlani is a star. We recently spent some time getting to know the 19-year-old Oakland native and today, we're excited to premiere "Jealous," her latest track off You Should Be Here. The slow-burning Jahaan Sweet-produced track features 17-year-old Minnesota artist Lexii Alijai. Kehlani croons about disloyalty, and fake bullshit in relationships... especially with those 2015 #InstagramTastemakers (Peep the artwork) and throws out the realest lines about relationships like, "I'm quit to cut it off/If you don't believe I'll do it."
"Jealous is about recognizing intention... having to end things with someone because they're about your lifestyle not necessarily you," Kehlani told Complex over email. "I feel like a lot of people with any sort of success have been through something like this. A lotta people lack integrity."
