Suge Knight's legal problems have taken another interesting turn today. The rap mogul now claims that he's legally blind in his left eye and that's why his car accelerated, hit, and killed Terry Carter in January.
In an interview with the New York Daily News, his lawyer Matthew Fletcher said it "wasn’t an option for Knight to veer left down the side street" instead of plowing straight into the path of Cle “Bone” Sloan and Carter.
“How can he go left if he can’t see?” Fletcher asked the NYDN. “This was a literal presentation of being blindsided. He was attacked on his blind side. To me it seems obvious. He’s being punched in the face, he can’t see.”
His lawyer claims that Knight was in fear for his life—and suffered from a few punches to the face—which caused him to hit Carter and Sloan and drive off. You can read more of his interview with the NYDN here and check back with us for updates soon.
