Stalley’s been repping his home state of Ohio correctly for years now. It’s rare he’ll miss a chance to give a shout out to the 330—including in the video above. The fact that his official website is “stalley330.com” should come as a surprise to no one, nor should the news that he titled his long-awaited debut album OHIO. The guy’s got love for the game, and the place whence he came.
Though Stalley’s long been a major presence in the music scene, thanks to an off-the-hook series of mixtapes, everybody was real eager to see what the young buck could do with his first LP. And he came correct. For his first single, “Chevelle,” he’s brought along some backup from Rashad and his Maybach Music Group label mate Gunplay. Shot in Miami in support of the 2015 Seagram’s Gin Calendar release during Art Basel, the video features all of the models that are included. Check out the video above, which is directed by Ryan Wick, and go behind the scenes below.
“Chevelle” is available for purchase on iTunes.
