While fans patiently wait for new solo music from J. Cole, he makes an appearance today on the official remix of Maroon 5's latest hit, "Animals." The new Cole verse comes at the end of the track, where he spits a quick 16 about not being able to get enough of his latest crush, and per usual, Cole displays a superior lyrical ability while maintaining a catchy flow over the modified, drum-heavy beat. This track marks Maroon 5's second remix with a hip-hop guest during this album run, with the "Maps" remix featuring Big Sean being the first.
