Last year, a not even 18-year-old kid from Chicago named Lucki Eck$ dropped an incredible project, Alternative Trap. It was unlike anything else coming out of Chicago at the time, and it was a dream-like look into the hazy mind of one of the most promising up-and-comers out right now.

"I don’t really like writing to the main rhythm of the beat so I try to find a background instrument to write to," Eck$ told Pigeons & Planes in a recent interview. "Then I find the melody. That’s how I do it."

Today, Complex TV has the exclusive premiere of his new video for "Ouch Ouch," where you'll hear just exactly how different Eck$'s music sounds. But there's a catch: he's nowhere to be seen in the grainy, VHS visuals.

Instead, the video stars the stunning FKA twigs, who directed and produced the "Ouch Ouch" visuals and song. The collaboration was a celebration to celebrate Twigs' recent visit to Chicago, as she tends to collaborate with local artists when she travels. It's a dark, seance-esque performance by the British artist, who is gearing up to drop her album, LP1, next month.

Interestingly enough, FKA detailed one of her songs, "Lights Out," in an interview with The Cut as sounding really "hissy." "I imagine if Medusa had loads of snakes on her head, lights on the snakes would be singing it," she said. It looks like she finally gets to channel Medusa in the eerie video for Eck$'s latest track, with a snake played by "Carmen."
