Bobby Shmurda has signed a deal with Epic Records. It has been confirmed by Sha Money XL an executive at the label, on Twitter and Instagram. "Deal is done @bobby_shmurda #EPIC no one does the underdogs better then me. Brooklyn this 1 is for you!," he wrote on Instagram tonight.

We emailed Sha Money for a statement on the signing tonight. "Best draft pick of the year! We taking him to the top. This 1 is for Brooklyn #Epic," he said over email. For those who haven't seen the #ShmoneyDance takeover recently, Shmurda's video for “Hot N***a” and its accompanying Shmoney Dance Vine has gone from 450,000 views on YouTube to over 2 million. Plus, it sparked a ton of hilarious mashups to the original Shmoney Dance Vine.

The 20-year-old rapper was recently offered a beat by DJ Mustard, brought out at King of Diamonds by Meek Mill, and graced the stage at the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival as a guest of Raekwon

The deal was announced a couple of hours before he is set to perform at the Webster Hall House Party in New York City.
