Before Tahiry Jose was the star of VH1's Love & Hip-Hop, a part-time artist, and the subject of nearly 900,000 Instagram fans following her every move, she was best known as Joe Budden's gorgeous girlfriend.
As she's explained to Complex before, dating a rapper can be pretty intense, especially when the limelight is on you every hour of the day, not to mention the thirsty women who would do pretty much anything to take her spot as Budden's beau. Tahiry shares some of her wisdom from her days dating a rap star with Complex TV. From handling harsh comments online to dealing with groupies, Tahiry keeps it one hundred. "I for one don't do Twitter beef. I just come see you," she says without so much as blinking. You have to be a strong woman to stand by a rapper's side for five years, and Tahiry is certainly that.
