DJ EZ Rock has reportedly died. Word of the tragic news just broke on social media when Rob Base put up a Facebook status saying, "RIP Skip (DJ EZ Rock) friends since 4th grade, I'm really going to miss you."

Details are still scarce about the cause of death. The Harlem duo of Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock are most well known for their 1988 single and album titled It Takes Two, with both being certified platinum. After that album the two split up due to personal reasons, only to reunite and release their album, Break Of Dawn, in 1994. We will continue to update this story as more information becomes available.
