Despite reports to the contrary, Lady Gaga will proceed with her debut performance at this year's SXSW. Gaga was initially denied permission to perform in Austin's annual music festival by city officials because... well, because she's Gaga and the likelihood of her shutting the already crazy SXSW events down for the evening is fairly high. One of Gaga's monsters must have infiltrated Austin's city hall, as word has come down from Lady Gaga herself stating that she will be performing this Thursday on March 13th, on the Doritos #BoldStage at Stubbs.
Gaga will be giving out tickets to her show via social media challenges that inspire her fans to showcase their boldness. "Only people who prove their boldness are able to get in," states Gaga.
