It can be hard being a woman in the music industry. Just ask Charli XCX. When we caught up with the British singer at SXSW, she opened up to us about the challenges of being a woman in a male-dominated industry. Charli even lamented on being brushed aside when she was just starting out in the game.

However, she went on to say that she did find comfort working with Iggy Azalea. The two teamed up for Iggy's recent song and Clueless inspired video "Fancy," and according to Charli, Iggy was so nice she nearly made her cry.

Charli's next album is expected this year. Iggy's debut album, The New Classic, drops April 18.
