March has been a very hectic month for West Coast hip-hop. Following releases from ScHoolboy Q, Vince Staples, 100s, and two days before YG's debut album comes out, Cutthroat Boyz representer A$ton Matthews has unveiled his new mixtape, A$ton 3:16. The project boasts production from DJ Khalil, Alchemist, Evidence, VDon, and Joey Fatts, with guest appearances coming from Action Bronson, Ab-Soul, A$AP Ferg, Bodega Bamz, Joey Fatts, and Vince Staples. With a diverse range of sounds and guest rappers, this is a showcase of A$ton's potential, as he looks to emerge from a crowded West Coast scene and pave a lane for himself.
