Download Dirty South Joe's STYLSS Mix 016

2014 sees OG tastemaker Dirty South Joe expanding his role to not just being a "head coach" of sorts for the Brick Bandits collective, but making moves of his own both within the industry itself and also as a regularly touring DJ. If you missed his "Unlisted" mix series for Gianni Lee's Babylon Cartel at the end of 2013, you truly missed something special. Within three two-hour long mixes, he presented the future of the mainstream and underground in his own unmistakably unique manner.

Though the year has changed, Joe's modus operandi remains the same. If getting "turnt" is getting old, Joe keeps it fresh, relevant and healthy (keep reading...) with a nearly hour-long mix for Portland, Oregon-based indie EDM label STYLSS (Stop Taking Your Life So Seriously). The mix comes complete with a vegan sloppy joe recipe in the description, and some more high octane fuel for the turn up from Migos, and tracks from Salva, Starkey, DJ Sliink, JSTJR, Happy Colors, Trippy Turtle, and many more.

STYLSS Recipe 016: SLOPPY VEGAN DIRTY SOUTH JOE’S

Ingredients:

1 can Hunt's Manwich Sauce

1 lb. bag Boca (or similar brand) Meatless Ground Crumbles

1 & 1/2 bags Martin's Potato Hamburger Rolls

1 bag Daiya Cheddar Style Slices

1 can Dill Pickle Slices

Black Pepper

Hot sauce

Pour one can of Manwich sauce and one pound of Boca crumbles into a sauce pan, add a few dashes of black pepper and a few more dashes of hot sauce, and simmer over low heat.

Line the hamburger rolls with a slice of Daiya cheddar, add a scoop of Sloppy Joe and top off with a few pickle slices.

(Makes 10-12 sandwiches)

Enjoy.
