Kendrick Lamar brought out E-40 during his set on the Yeezus tour stop in San Jose. Giving the Bay Area native his just dues as a "legend," Kendrick graciously introduced E-40 and demanded cheers from the S&P Center audience. With Kendrick on stage, E-40 performed one of his more recent singles, "Function."

Yesterday also happened to be the one year anniversary of Kendrick's first major label album, good kid m.A.A.d. city, so clearly it was a good day overall. Meanwhile, the Yeezus tour continues tonight with a stop in Oakland tonight at the Oracle Arena. From there, a homecoming stop for Kendrick at the Staples Center on Saturday. Kendrick will not be opening up for Kanye in Las Vegas the previous night; he will instead be replaced by Pusha T.
