This past Tuesday Sean Kingston released his third studio album Back 2 Life. His first album in four years, Back 2 Life signifies a new chapter in the 23-year-old singers' life following a jet ski accident in 2011 that sent him to the intensive care unit with a broken jaw and fractured wrist. While the accident set his career slightly off-course, Kingston has since made a full recovery and is now back in the driver's seat, looking to recapture the musical command that made him a household name. His latest single "Beat It" is a step in the right direction, and the rest of his album looks to follow the same vibrant formula.
ComplexTV caught up with Sean Kingston to discuss his new album, which boasts features from hip-hop heavyweights like Wiz Khalifa, T.I., Wale and 2 Chainz among others. Kingston talks about some of his favorite records on Back 2 Life, as well as details the musical versatility behind his latest release.
