There's nothing new about the narrative told in this story, it's just told exceptionally well. With a gorgeous melody and guitar-driven production, "Downtown" has the potential to be a major song for New Orleans singer August Alsina, whose Downtown: Life Under the Gun EP is due out on iTunes August 20.
