Competing with Chief Keef's "I Don't Like" and Lil Durk's "L's Anthem" for dominance over the car speaker systems of Chicago's citizenry last summer was Young Giftz's "Nino," off his underrated mixtape Lake Effect 1.5: The Re-Rock. With Giftz' nimble flow and the song's airy, "soul-trap" beat courtesy of local rapper-producer Tree, "Nino" proved the pair as ones-to-watch amidst the blossoming Chicago hip-hop scene.

Almost a year later, fellow Chicagoans Save Money have been tasked with giving the song the remix treatment. Though Save Money's breakout emcee Chance the Rapper doesn't appear here, Joey Purp, Kami De Chukwu, Dally Auston, Brian Fresco, and Caleb James more than make up for his absence with verses that are equal parts hard-body and hilarious. It's just an appetizer for the main course, Giftz's Position of Power EP, which drops later this summer. Warm up those subs and stream/download the track below.
