Pharrell Williams made an appearance on The Angie Martinez Show this afternoon where he touched on several topics, with the most important being what he's been up to musically. P says he's worked with Jay-ZBeyoncé, Miley Cyrus, No Doubt, Jennifer Hudson, ScHoolboy Q and Kendrick Lamar on new music that will hopefully bless all of our ears soon enough.

He lights up when talking about his work with Jay-Z, insisting "The rain man is back, the rain man is back. I gave him a straight up Stanley Kubrick movie…..the rain man is back.” Doesn't Pharrell's eagerness remind you of that famous scene from Fade to Black where he's trying to sell Jay-Z on the "Allure" beat?

Here's to hoping the end result is similar.
