Nine years after their first breakup and two years after their second, Capone and Noreaga (a.k.a. N.O.R.E., a.k.a. P.A.P.I.) are officially at it again as Capone-N-Noreaga. The boys called into “Sway in the Morning” today to officially announce that they’re together again and that new music is on the way. Discussing the group’s long hiatus, Capone said,
“It’s probably my fault, but it’s probably his fault too. We’re both to blame, we be stubborn sometimes but we brothers. One minute he’s doing this, one minute I’m doing that. But right now, his joint come out, after that we going straight full throttle with it. Nobody’s gonna be to blame then.”
The Queens rappers promised that they’ll be in the studio soon and that, if everything goes right, N.O.R.E.’s set at Providence, RI’s Fête Ballroom this Sunday could mark the first appearance of the reunited C-N-N. Listen to the announcement below, look out for more information on the boys’ reunion and grab Noreaga’s new solo album, Student of the Game on April 16.
