As he prepares to drop his Rage is Back mixtape next week, J. Period snags Common for a new joint 19 years in the making. “The Next Chapter (Still Love H.E.R.)” is ostensibly a sequel to 1994’s “I Used to Love H.E.R.,” with Common proudly proclaiming almost two decades later that he still loves hearing every rhyme.
