It’s been quite a week for Seattle duo Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. Today the pair stopped by Ellen for a highly theatrical performance of their single “Thrift Shop” off of their debut The Heist.
If that wasn't enough, the sales numbers are now in for the week and Billboard has confirmed that “Thrift Shop” is Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ first number one single. The track surpassed Rihanna’s “Diamonds” to top the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart in its 15th week.
