The Seattle duo of Macklmore and Ryan Lewis had quite a year in 2012 with their debut album The Heist doing very well, and even peaked at number two on the Billboard charts. Today they get even better news that their single "Thrift Shop" has hit the platinum mark in sales. The single is currently at the 10 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
