According to sources in Chief Keef's camp, the rapper—government name Keith Cozart—has had his hearing on a probation violation moved up from the rescheduled date of January 28 to January 15.

Idris "Peeda Pan" Wahid, a member of Keef's management team, expressed concern that the prosecution's willingness to have the hearing early could signal their confidence in their case.

Prosecutors had alleged Keef violated probation last year when taking part in a video interview held at a gun range in New York.

Peeda Pan also said that Keef has finished recording his Bang Pt. 2 mixtape, and has already begun work on his follow-up to 2012's Finally Rich.
